With an intricate design in blue and white and finished with playful fruits, this candleholder offers a modern take on the traditional Mexican Polychrome Clay technique.

Delivery

We endeavour to ship all orders within one working day, however during busier periods it may take up to 3-5 days. Please keep in mind that all orders placed on weekends or holidays will be processed the next business day. Orders placed after 12PM GMT on business days will begin processing on the following business day.

Each product is carefully packaged to ensure that it arrives in pristine condition. If you place an order online for multiple products, we will consolidate boxes to the extent possible. Orders will be shipped and delivered right to your front door.

The Story

Puebla Ceramics, Mexico

These candleholders were inspired by Caroline's personal collection of vintage Mexican pieces, especially those by Heron Martínez Mendoza. Mendoza was a prolific potter from Puebla who worked with clay forms to represent animals, fish and various types of birds and is well known for his whimsical Trees of Life.

We work with a family workshop in Izucar de Matamoros, Mexico, with more than 40 years dedicated to creating these folk art inspired pieces.
