Wicklewood X Mola Sasa is a collaboration that celebrates a kindred aesthetic - vivid colour, vibrant motifs, impeccable finishing and aligned philosophies - preserving artisan traditions, sourcing sustainable materials and working with local female artisans to empower women.
This square cushion, crafted in red and blue, is handmade by the Guna Dule indigenous women and is inspired by the traditional Guatemalan tree of life design. The female artisans use an ancient appliqué technique of hand sewing cut-out layers of fabric to form the intricate Tree of Life design.
