The modern nomads of Wicklewood are back, swinging open the doors of 123 Sydney Street this November and decking the halls with our signature collection of colourful cushions, handmade quilts and desirable one-of-a-kind collectibles. This time we will transform the shop into two distinct spaces - The Winter Shop and The Revolving Room. THE WINTER SHOP The Winter Shop will be brimming with an array of seasonal gifts for friends, family and yourself, including hand crafted Guatemalan table runners and ornaments, colourful ceramics and exquisite inlay boxes and trays. You'll also have exclusive advance access to items from our SS'19 collection, available in store only. These include, handmade Peruvian mirrors, Wicklewood dog beds, block printed tablecloths and reversible quilts as well as the new, limited edition Wicklewood X Pooky range of lampshades. THE REVOLVING ROOM - 3 WOMEN, 3 DAYS, 3 LOOKS - At Wicklewood we celebrate creativity and entrepreneurship. And, this November we'll be welcoming design industry-leaders into The Revolving Room to transform the space using their own signature style. Each designer will makeover and takeover the room for three days, using their favourite pieces from Wicklewood and partner brands - Arlo & Jacob, Blithfield, Pooky, Partnership Editions and Chelsea Textiles. You will have the opportunity to browse The Revolving Room and see first-hand the versatility of Wicklewood products and how they can adapt to personal styles and different homes. |
Lucy Barlow is the Founder the Creative Director of Barlow & Barlow - a British interior design studio known for its dual expertise in decoration and lighting. Lucy designs her schemes with a fearless and luxurious sense of print and pattern and is known for never shying way from colour. “The Revolving Room is every designers dream. A totally blank canvas and free reign to do what you want. I’m taking my inspiration from English Country House style, European architecture, colour and pattern. I have a penchant for pineapples so I’ve got my eye on Blithfield’s bright orange Pineapple wallpaper and might be bringing a few pieces of my own into the room, but I can’t give too much away, you’ll have to come and see the space for yourself.” |
Willow Crossley is a floral and interior stylist whose signature arrangements zing with colour, texture and movement. Her approach is steeped in nature, influenced by a childhood in Wales and early married life in the south of France. Her whimsical creations reflect these deep roots and a life without seasonal flowers or foliage is not an option for Willow, “it feels wrong not to have some sort of floral decoration at home, but if I can’t get my hands-on flowers I compromise with other natural treasures - plants, feathers, shells, branches…” “I’m thrilled to be working with Wicklewood on The Revolving Room project and can’t wait to start the styling the room. The abundance of colour and pattern in Wicklewood’s collection is inspirational. Both my own interiors and and creations with flowers reflect my passion for rich jewel colours. I find using deep shades in luxurious velvets and textured patterns can bring an inviting warmth to a home during the winter months.”

Contributing Style Editor of Tatler, and formerly the Executive Fashion Direcitor of Vogue, Serena Hood is known for her impeccable sense of style and eye for (very) good design. Her predilection for pattern and colour stems beyond her wardrobe and into her home, which she is currently renovating as we speak… “I’ve always loved mixing colours and patterns, whether that be with what I wear or how I decorate my home. My advice is to have fun when it comes to fashion and interiors - there are no rules. I’m thrilled to have been asked to partner with Wicklewood as I am currently decorating my home, so The Revolving Room is my very own life-size mood board. If you’re in need of some design inspiration then this room has it all. |
