Four easy ways to embrace autumn colours in your home

Four easy ways to embrace autumn colours in your home

Carpets of crisp, crunchy leaves, pumpkin... well, everything, sweaters and slippers. We can't get enough of autumn this year. The glowing light and the stunning array of colours that this season brings has inspired us to curate a selection of pieces that will instantly bring the taste of autumn into your home.

Entertaining at home with playful plates

Table settings are a great starting point to bring the autumnal palette home. Our limited edition Flora hand-painted plates, curated in collaboration with Gloria Gonzalez, will brighten up any table. Go monochrome for a unified look or get playful mixing and matching the different colours. Our favourite combo for this season: amber + purple. Divine.

Add warmth with rugs

Finding the right rug will not only help you to tie a room together but it will also keep your feet warm in colder months. Our favourite pick for this season is the Osborne. This handwoven flatweave rug will work wonders in any space: toning down a colourful room or brightening up a neutral space, this rug does it all!

Wicklewood Osborne rug is a handwoven flatweave rug that mixes diamond motifs in the ground with a strong colourful zig zag.

 A study in reds

Get red-y to use all shades of red this season: carmine, scarlet, crimson…the possibilities are endless. An easy way (that doesn't involve any messy painting or complicated DIY) to bring this warm and vibrant palette into your home is through cushions, cushions and more cushions.

 Layering with throws

Throws are the perfect accessory for lazy autumn days at home. Layered on your bed or sofa, they will add the right amount of colour and interest that your room needs. The colours and pattern of Wicklewood's 'Tree of Life' throw are perfect for bringing a quick a seasonal fix into your home.
