Made from Kirby, a Blithfield original design, this oblong cushion is trimmed with a brightly coloured scalloped edge to create a whimsical, artisan effect. It looks great as a statement in the center of a sofa or chair, but we believe the more the merrier so combine this cushion with others of different colours, shapes and sizes to create a bright and beautiful living space.

This cushion measures 35 cm x 50 cm and is filled with an oversized down insert to ensure maximum comfort. It has an invisible zip in the bottom seam and is handcrafted in the U.K. and comes with a custom hand block printed dust bag.
This cushion is made from screen printed fabric. In the screen printing, skilled craftsmen transfer a design onto screens retaining all of the original elements of the artwork. The printing process entails printing each colour separately by applying colour through separate screens resembling different parts of the final design. The screen acts as a stencil so the ink is only transfered to select areas of the fabric. Traditionally, the process was called silkscreen printing because silk was used in the process prior to the invention of polyester mesh. Some of our original block print designs have been reinterpreted into screen prints.
