Handmade in the artisan centre of northern Ghana, These Bolgatanga fans are crafted with gathered herbs - ‘elephant grass’ or ‘veta vera’. These strong, durable natural fibres are boiled with natural dyes to create the colours, then hand-shaped to the iconic fan silhouette. This vibrant piece is mounted on contrasting Blithfield fabric and showcased behind a Perspex frame. We love them as a unique alternative to a framed print - either alone, or as part of a colourful collection.
